The Dallas Arts District is a 19-block, 68.4-acre neighborhood in the northeast part of Downtown Dallas. Home to some of Dallas' most storied buildings, the Arts District is a blossoming, architecturally distinctive community destination that includes Annette Strauss Artist Square, Belo Mansion/Dallas Bar Association, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Theater Center/Arts District Theater, Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, Nasher Sculpture Center, St. Paul United Methodist Church, Trammell Crow Center, and the Trammell & Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art.
Recent additions to the District are the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House and the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre.
